The presentation on fashion in West Africa brought up many different topics to talk about. I found the discussion on portraits to be very interesting and somewhat debatable. The whole idea of whether something is a "portrait" or "not a portrait" is completely opinionated. In magazines a portrait can be of a person in their everyday life walking down the street. When that same person is standing near a popular business or store the intentions of the image change. Overall, the way that an image is taken can influence the way that the audience views and interprets the image.
i dont know why, these pictures are my favorite though hahaha. I also like the girlyy pictures beloww of the perfume and stuff. I enjoy the compositions and colors. Your thought process is very interesting! Im looking forward to more of your work!
